2022 CFDA Fashion Awards
An epic night is in store for the fashion industry as the Council Fashion Designers of America will be presenting their annual CFDA 2022 Fashion Awards tonight. Several passionate individuals will all be in one area celebrating what we all love most: fashion! In partnership with Amazon Fashion, tonight’s red carpet event will be hosted by Selling Sunset star, Christine Quinn. While, designers like Telfar Clemens, Jerry Lorenzo, Laquan Smith and Elena Velez are just some of the honorable nominees tonight. Lenny Kravitz will be the Fashion Icon of the Year while Law Roach will take home the Stylist of the Year award. In celebration for their 60th anniversary, a special award will be received by a longtime board member Jeffery Banks.
In addition, a special moment will be dedicated to the late, Virgil Aboh as he is this year’s Board of Trustee’s Award winner. Overall, this must’ve been a tough decision for the board members on the voting panel. Here is a list highlighting all this year’s nominees. Aside from celebrating the industries’ heavy hitters, the next major moment tonight is seeing what our favorite celebrities will wear. Kerry Washington, Bradley Cooper, Christina Rucci and Trevor Noah are all set to present awards tonight. While the host of the ceremony will be Nastasha Lyonne.
