We are pulling back the curtain to give you a behind-the-scenes look at beauty looks Back of House at The Carolina Fashion Awards and to show our appreciation to our fantastic team of hairstylists and makeup artists that worked together to create the experience. This year’s looks were inspired by those year’s award theme; thunder and wind. The element of wind was used by creating movement in the hair with braids and textured sky-high hair. Our makeup artist brought the thunder with bold blush stories, reconstructed shadows, and retro glam looks. Meet our BOH team.

Monique Soto
Monique is a pro-MUA of 16 years and new to TV & Film artistry. She has blessed faces from NYFW models to stars from the FOX drama series “Our Kind of People“. She has also worked on the set of the upcoming American drama television Spectrum miniseries “George & Tammy” starring Jessica Chastain and Michael Shannon.
