Singer/songwriter, Sia, went undercover to take the season of giving to the next level when she paid for Thanksgiving groceries for Walmart and T.J. Maxx customers in Palm Springs, California. Without her signature, face covering wigs, she was not instantly recognized, however fans in the grocery store soon figured out who the kind stranger was.

When thankful customers questioned the singer, she reportedly told them that her name was “Cici,” and that she had just won the lottery and wanted to share her winnings.

Not all customers recognized Sia, as she is usually wearing wigs that cover her face and theatrical costumes. Her fresh faced and casual look threw many off, however some began to recognize her, then proceeded to thank her and take photos and videos with her.

“So @Sia paid for my groceries today thank you so much!!” one grateful customer posted on Twitter.

In one video taken by a fan, a shopper gave Sia flowers as a thank you for her act of kindness. Sia accepted them and then turned around and said, “Who’s next?” She then made her way, one by one, to each register and swiped her card.

“The heart and beautiful soul you have for paying for everyone!! I’m sorry for telling everyone once I realized who you were !! But this kindness must be acknowledged!!!” said the customer who took the video on Twitter.
