Mr. Marner’s 2nd CD, “The Soul of Love” is an innovative blend of R&B productions with the classy musical elements of Smooth Jazz. This CD debuted the hit single “He Gave Me You” in which Eric incorporated the modern R&B production styles of producers such as Babyface, P.Diddy, and Neyo. The “Soul of Love” has blurred the lines of instrumental music to create a new genre he calls “Instrumental R&B”.

From the downbeat, every track draws you in with its organic grooves and its masterful production. In the realm of Jazz, Smooth Jazz, or Instrumental R&B there is nothing like No, ID. If you’re looking for easy listening music, this is not it! This saxophone and vocal driven CD is an energetic explosion of sound, like no other, which makes it too difficult to categorize. It should be put on the shelf of Imperfect Competition! No, I’m Different continues to blur the lines between Jazz, Smooth Jazz, Hip Hop and R&B.
Eric has a featured the debut single, “Never Knew Love Like This Before”, a classic Stephanie Mills song, remade as only Eric Marner can. His style, understandings of music, soul, and life experiences have all come together to create the most innovative saxophone led project of 2018. 20/20 Vision crosses all musical genres and should not be labeled.
