Usher may not have been talking about candles when he coined the phrase, “Let it Burn,” but after an exclusive SouthPark pre-launch party featuring the new Evolution Aura candles…that’s exactly what were doing on September 15th after the invite to the private grand opening at South Park Mall presented to us by Jacinda Jacobs our Charlotte Hornet Host. We are excited to share a few details because the grand opening just happend on October 28th!
Evolution Aura is a hand-crafted and locally born luxury fragrance brand, with a mission to do more. Part owner, Charlotte influencer, and this year’s Carolina Fashion Award Host, Jacinda Jacobs is always up to something in the community.
What is it this time? Every minute you breathe in the power behind each scent provides power behind each scent. “Twenty percent of every single sale is donated back to a local organization,” Jacobs explained, “that’s really what our vision is about.”
Giving back is at the core of who the brand is, and the idea of community is what brings each detail together. “Our auras tap into the range of emotions we experience collectively as humans. They are specifically designed to create an emotional experience that reflects how our customers see themselves and the world around them through fragrance.”
If you’re anything like me, then you’re probably wanting all the details about the candle collection. Six different “auras” are represented, each for a different mood: Prestige, Rejuvenation, Compassion, Passion, Strength, and Joy. There are three sizes to choose from that burn anywhere from 45 to 220 hours.
The experience from the moment you walk into the store (or visit the website), the perfect packaging, to the very last burning moment is pure luxury. Level21 TV Host Yamaris was able to see and smell for herself at the pre-launch.
“It’s worth every penny,” Yamaris said, “The candle smells amazing and it’s a wonderful gift.”
The trend of brands that do more is on the rise after a year that made everyone think twice about the way they spend their time. According to the Sustainable Brands website that is exactly what people are looking for, “In the heart of a pandemic, it is a company’s core values and purpose that people gravitate towards and rally around.”
As for Evolution Aura, it was all about combining their two passions of candles and the community. In their own words “Through our fragrances, you help us empower those that need it most. Our mission transcends fragrance; we transform lives.”
We are looking forward to seeing the evolution of this new purpose driven brand. The official grand opening was THIS week on Thursday, October 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Southpark Mall. This opening night was hosted by Charlotte influencer, Host of the local “Oh Show Live,” and the “lead with love” queen, Ohavia Phillips.
