Hosted by the multi-talented Cynthia Erivo, the ceremony kicked off with an opening address by CFDA Chairman Thom Browne, who welcomed attendees and set the tone for an evening dedicated to acknowledging innovation and excellence. The awards were presented by a lineup of well-known names, adding star power to each category announcement.

The evening’s top honors went to Rachel Scott of Diotima, who was awarded American Womenswear Designer of the Year by actress Da’Vine Joy Randolph, and Willy Chavarria, who took home American Menswear Designer of the Year, presented by singer Troye Sivan. These awards highlighted Scott and Chavarria’s unique contributions to pushing the boundaries of American fashion in their respective categories.

Accessories also had their moment to shine, with Raul Lopez of Luar winning American Accessory Designer of the Year. The announcement, made by fashion icons Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie, celebrated Lopez’s craftsmanship and innovation. Emerging talent was also recognized, as the Google Shopping American Emerging Designer of the Year went to Henry Zankov of Zankov, marking his impact on the future of American design.
