 Humble Connor’s Autumn/Winter 2018 fashion show

Humble Connor is releasing her Autumn/Winter 2018 collection “Body Language” on June 22nd at the Historic Rosedale Plantation at 5:00 pm. The multi-media event will take place outdoors on the 5 acre grounds with impeccable spruced gardens.  The oldest wood frame treasure in the middle of urban Charlotte, 2 miles away from uptown. This large circa built in 1815 by Archibald Frew plantation home was originally part of a 919 acre plantation sold off through the years.

Sponsored by Aveda Institute, the designer would like to invite the fashion, art and wellness community to connect with the Education  and finance community in Charlotte.

Body Language AW18 is an exploration of a person anatomy and what separates them from the crowd. We’re promoting  non resistance to becoming the real you. This goes deeper than the version of you your family and friends see and know. Instead we’re challenging individuals to embrace who they are right now. Somatically, non materialistic and intellectually; Body Language is a subconscious non verbal way of communicating through conscious or unconscious gestures. This collection is the merge of subcultures, and blendS the dimensions of reality.  The runway show will be a ceremonial parade held to display what it looks and feels like to come to terms with your authentic self. Relentlessly.

said Humble Connor.

This event exceeds the expectations of a traditional fashion show by recruiting models of all sizes, ages, ethnicity and different walks of life.  Opening the evening is a  live exhibition of a martial arts performance live painted by Cordrell Colbert, a local underground fine artist. An auction will take place for the artist work after the event. “Body Language” collection will be available for sale in Angels Touch Fashion located at 2921 A Gibbon Road. The collection are handmade artisan quality garments that incorporates international and experimental influences.

Humble Connor is mobilizing a new fangled concept with a dated theme that says to “Come As You Are. Love yourself right where you are”  and dress to impress yourself.

You can Purchase tickets online on eventbrite. Early bird tickets are $10,  general admission is $15 , at the door tickets are $20 and VIP ticket for $30, limited to 50 tickets on eventbrite.
